The Committee purchased a ” wheelie stacker ” mini fork lift sounds a lot better than the original title. we decided to purchase one of these from the 2018 grant money. The machine will be used to lift heavy items within the shed working areas, it is not appropriate that members should be placing their wellbeing in danger by lifting very heavy items into or out of trailers or utes. Most of us are to old for that and the risk of injury in trying to do so is high. We have also bought a much smaller lifter for lifting smaller heavy items up to a bench top height so that they can be lifted across to the bench.
The pictures above show the machine lifting a heavy item for a pallet to place beneath it and the pallet after the machine has relocated the machine.
